No other word best describes the unique combination of style, sound, and culture that ultimately composes this 18 year old rap artist. Growing up in Union, a small South Carolina town, gives this hip-hop new-comer an edge that hasn't yet been seen or heard by others in the rap game. Voicing in-sights and opinions on his own experiences with such controversial topics as drugs, violence, death, money, and sex at such a young age has earned this teen-age South Carolina native a great deal of recognition in the Hip-Hop world. A certain versatility in his styles of music, ranging from upbeat krunk anthems like "What it do" to more street-oriented rider tracks like "Cheaaa!", is obvious throughout the emcee's debut album. The title of the project, "DrAzTiK Measures", is a fitting one, giving the listener raw emotion and holding nothing back on each track. DrAzTiK, unlike most artists in the industry, not only tells his story through his music, but also speaks to and relates it with the people listening. With such originality, one can't help but nod their head, tap their feet, and vibe with this new movement, known as UpSouth, joining the bouncy liveliness of the south with the more laid-back suavity of the north.

Constantly pumping out new street classics and keeping the southern hip-hip game alive, there is no doubt why this promising youngster has earned himself the moniker "Tha Heart Of Tha South".
