Prince Edward Island's Drea Macdonald is a musician and songwriter who combines her love for rock n roll, country, folk and pop into a unique "East Coast Pop" package. She has produced three recordings since 2008, with her latest, "In a Heartbeat" (2013) showcasing a more polished blend of pop and folk/rock.
Performing solo, Drea boasts strong vocals carrying confessional lyrics, and aggressive acoustic strumming. With her band (The Wildebeards, featured on "In a Heartbeat"), the acoustic is left behind in favor of punchy electric guitars and a tightly-knit rhythm section.
