Bio

Dreamboat Armada is less of a band and more of an armada. We consider anyone and everyone who has come out and been a part of our show to be part of the Dreamboat Armada.

~Miranda~ The lead singer. Also provides the dance moves. She is from Linthicum Heights and is now at UMBC. Attended Glenelg High where she met up with guitarist Morton, who at the time had hair longer than Dr. Fu Manchu's mustache. Together they created the first incarnation of the Armada with original bass player Alanna and original drummer Brendan. Influenced by jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, musical duo the White Stripes, and the enigmatic mind of Werner Heisenberg.

~Morton~ The lead guitarist. Also provides backup vocals. Originally from Providence, New Jersey- though he completely resents 'Jersey Shore'. Co-founder of the group, he only owns one guitar and prefers it that way. He is going for a record for most consecutive Halloweens dressed as John Lennon. Influenced by legend Stevie Ray Vaughn, visionary Eugene Hutz, and Tycho Brahe.

~Ricky~ The lead drummer. Also provides the sex appeal. Born in Upper Marlboro, and attended Hammond High. Little do people know, John Bonham is not actually dead. He was just taking a break. And now he is back, and he has MORE DRUMS!!! Ricky can tell the difference between 974 types of wine by color alone. Influenced by Frank Zappa, John Belushi, an underrated band called The Beatles, and Animal from the muppets.

~Piano Steve~ Plays lead keyboards and lead synthesized bass. Born in Baltimore and raised in Clarksville. Former competitor in the Pan-Hellenic Thumb Wrestling League (the PHTWL), though he was eventually kicked out of the league for just being too damn good at it. He is the kind of person who would wear a piano key necktie. Influenced by Sir Elton John, Beethoven, and Cal Ripken.
