Born in Lawton OK to high school sweethearts from Alachua, FL while in the military Ernest "Dred" Perry has seen several parts of the country and has met alot of folks that help make up what is his totally unique sound.
He was 11 years old when he wrote his first song shortly after the passing of his grandmother and he not stopped since. Several years, notebooks, and cities (Alachua, Lake City, Lakeland, Jacksonville, Valdosta, Atlanta) later he has finally polished his lyrics and sound and is ready to present it to the world.
Backed by friends, family, fans, Ghetto Symphony Music Group and the man upstairs Dred asks "If God is for me who is my competition? The only way to go is to the top"! His 1st single "I sit and wonder"has touched the hearts of many and video for this song will be filmed shortly. Stay tuned for more of the young artist who many call "The Future of Florida".
