After Dreion thanked the crowd, his wife and child, Fuller prepared us for the final song of the show. “Madison Square Garden, the O2 Arena… Get ready for Dreion!” Dreion closed with original song, ‘For a Change is Coming’, which was released fittingly that night at midnight. As everyone shuffled out of the venue, the cacophony of praise and proclamations of amazement made it very clear that Da Da ‘Dreion’ Murrell is indeed, Made For This. -

DREION is a singer-songwriter, musician, and performing artist from
Omaha, Nebraska. He currently is a student at Berklee College of Music as a
Songwriting Major with a minor in Africana Studies who balances his academic
and performing life while also being a husband and a father.
DREION’s goal is to influence and inspire generations internationally
through performance. His vision is to create music that makes the listener feel
good, while also imparting a message of inspiration and hope. His music can be
described as a combination of gospel, soul, funk, and R&B, taking inspiration
from Prince, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Percy Baby, Smokie
Norful, Daryl Coley, Kim Burrell, The Clark Sisters and many more.
As an audience member at one of DREION’s live performances, one can
expect to be guided on a journey through the good, the bad, and the indifferent
parts of life. The soul and emotions he embodies on stage are the products of the
unique experiences DREION has faced throughout his life, and allow him to reveal
who he truly is to his audience.
DREION is a recipient of both the Bill & Melinda Gates Millennium
Scholarship and the Warren & Susan Buffett Scholarship (full cost of attendance
awards for outstanding academic excellence). Dreion has had the privilege of
performing at many venues including the Boston Boy and Girls Club, College
World Series, Gillette Stadium, and the legendary Grand Ole Opry.
