Drew Jones began his music career early when he started harmonizing to gospel music with his parents at 17 months old.  He taught himself to play piano at the age of five and the guitar at the age of ten, followed by saxophone, tenor saxophone, and soprano saxophone in his high school years.
Drew's writing began in the summer of 1995 and has continued ever since, being primarily influenced by David Gilmore, Slash, Keith Whitley, David Allan Coe, Vince Gill, Mark Knopler, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ray Charles, and Willie Nelson just to name a few. His writing comes from his personal life experiences, and subject matter is often surrounding experiences with family and friends.

Originally from Bisbee, Arizona, Erin Breen has been playing fiddle by ear for roughly 35 years. Throughout her early career, she was a regular competitor in fiddle contests throughout the southwest, winning numerous awards; she performed in a weekly country music stage review in Prescott, AZ called the “Arizona Jamboree”; and began teaching at the age of fifteen. Erin’s formal music education includes instruction from Julianna Waller, nationally recognized fiddler and member of the Fiddler’s Hall of Fame, and she has played in the past with Chris While, Sarah Watkins, and Sean Watkins (of Nickel Creek fame), as well as Jess Barry and Jesse Stockman (of Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver fame).

Neil Richardson began his musical studies at the age of 9 when he joined the school band. He began playing electric bass for his first rock band during his senior in high school. He majored in music at St Mary’s College of Maryland where he studied the upright bass and tuba. He played in the Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, Chamber Strings Ensemble, The Jazz Big Band and the Jazz Combo. He earned his Master of Music Therapy from Shenandoah Conservatory. Neil has toured the country in the rock band Drumfish, and has played with notable jazz artists Tim Reese, Miles Evans, and Harry Wilson. He has played classic rock, Celtic, funk, bluegrass, jazz and country.

Chase Murdock began playing in 1996. He would practice to the radio on his back porch when he lived in the Mohave Desert. He honed his skills all through high school playing in concert band and local jazzbands and donated a lot of his time playing for Praise and Worship at church. He was the drummer for the well-known Wesley Pruitt Band. Chase can often be found backing musicians at The Forge in Ben Wheeler, TX, when a percussionist was needed. His influences range from country, smooth jazz, reggae, Rush and Jethro Tull. He is a high energy drummer with a soft hand when needed. He compliments the Drew Jones Project sound by being able to play the many different genres that the band requires.
