Chadwick is an American songwriter, musician, recording artist and multi-instrumentalist with experience on guitar, bass, piano, drums and other percussion, flute, violin, harmonica, banjo, mandolin ? and vocals ? whose work is steeped in a mingling of the organic and electronic. His musical philosophy is based in the idea that improvisation and freestyle lyrics are the superior techniques for capturing the moment in song without misinterpretation. His musical studies are grounded in jazz and his compositional skills were enhanced beyond even their natural strength via exposure to improv. That lesson in life and music was introduced to Chadwick by Jeff Coffin (Flecktones), Christine Corea and Gene V. Baker. Chadwick?s first album was recorded while he was but 16-years-old. 1998 found him moving to pursue a degree in music education at Central Connecticut State University; after his return home, he broadened his horizons by entering the realm of digital recording. Another move found him working with the Peace Corps in 2003-4, an experience Chadwick says brought his mind into even greater focus, a journey of self-discovery that spilled over into his musical endeavors.
