"Da Newz"

The Lowdown:
Drew is a southern MC transplant. His father introduced him to producer the Great Dane. Drew and Great Dane then went to Cleveland to produce songs with Mo Thug Records (Bone Thugs-n Harmony's label) producers Dirty Red and Ken Dawg. This led to three songs that got attention in Cleveland clubs.

The Music:
Gangsta. Unapologetically gangsta. Not for the kids. The beats are well made, and Drew Fire is a competent MC. It's a well produced CD in its own right.

Bio

Drew Fire and Dirty Red have been together since 2003, meeting in 2000 through mutaul friend the Great Dane. Since they've been waiting in the wings, building there names, reputations and studio. "We're not new to the game. We've produced many song over the years so we've been around and have seen how albums just get thrown together. We're out to change the game and raise the bar" say Drew Fire. After working together on the regionally released "this thing of ours compilation" and spending time on tour as part of the 2003 Bone Thugs/Seagram's tour, the two began hearing demand for an album together. "We were all working hard out here trying to get a buzz. We sat down and talked about all the criticism we received and began working together to produce an album that would satisfy A&R, and bring back quality music." says redhanded producer the Great Dane.
