Bio
In 2006 Dylan Donovan and Nathan Rhodes formed the confrontational noise band False Bravado with drummer Yuri Hughes and violinist Jake Marshall, which collapsed inevitably after a short run of live performances. After a long reprieve Dylan and Nathan reformed the band under the name Drider with George Brown-Lohr on bass and Adrian Bernal on drums. This time around they wrote more focused, structure based songs showcasing the linked guitar styles that Dylan and Nathan developed from endless jam sessions which rejects the traditional Lead/Rhythm roles. Bringing in session bassist George Brown-Lohr as a full time member and metal tinged drummer Adrian Bernal lent a stronger rhythm section to the band. Described by sound-men as "Brutally Loud" Drider haven't abandoned their noisy roots but reflect diverse influences such as Loop, Bardo Pond, and Electric Wizard, to bring a new experience of guitar rock to their unwitting audience. Formed and based in Austin TX, Drider began recording their first Album in 2010 and released it New Years Eve of that year. In early 2011 Dylan Donovan took an amicable leave from the band after three years to live in South Korea.
