Driftback is an Alt/Rock band from Rye, NY that was formed in the spring of 2011 by drummer Evan Miranda, and guitarist/vocalist Will Dailey. The members of Driftback with the exception of their bassist, Hugh Reynolds, spent their first few months as a band in pre-production for their debut album, Daydream By Night, which was recorded at The Kennel Studio in Brooklyn, NY, in late July. The album was completed (with mastering) on August 1st, 2011. The band released the album on October 2nd, 2011, and has made it available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon, and CDs. Driftback is a band that loves to make great music for their fans and has a true passion for it. "There's no feeling better than the one you get when people want to hear your music." ~ The Band
