Bio

NOVA
The young MC/producer got his first taste of hip hop music in the early 90s. Listening to artists such as LL Cool J and Young MC, Mike Nelson, a.k.a. "Nova," was instantly hypnotized by hip hop's sound and style.

Nova then got his first set of turntables at 15. A year later he started recording with life long friend Luke James and producer cousin Squiggie.

Within the next year Nova and Luke James (a.k.a. Jamez Flamez) linked with Classified, the northeast's most notable producer/MC, to form the group TKO. They recorded their debut album "The Entrance," in Halifax.

After graduating high school in 2002, the 18-year-old Nova Scotian trekked across Canada and took his dreams to the west coast, where he now resides in Vancouver.

Leaving everything behind, but his CDs and turntables, Nova's struggle is now his strength and he's hustlin' his way into your stereo speakers.

NYITI
Marc Nyiti's beats are as unique as the 24-year-old producer's African-French-Canadian heritage. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Nyiti has been listening to African and Motown records since he was six.

A professionally trained audio engineer, Nyiti's affinity for music has only begun to materialize.

He has composed movie soundtracks for independent films which won awards and worked with artists such as BassNector, Trouble Andrews, Jordan Crocher, Lamar Ashe and Yung Texxas, in the last few years.

Working in collaboration with Nova, their first joint project will be available to the public April 2007.
