"Great talents at Fubar with Greenhouse Records & The Newsletter Presents"

The hottest billings of the night were when Drique and his Greenhouse team got on stage and tossed their signature t-shirts out to the fans, Damo Entertainment got the crowd in the mood with his "Hater" anthem, Nasty Rebels crowd the stage with their banging bass, Dirty Dolla Ent. had the party in check with their classic rhymes and lastly Amber brought down the house with her live band playing behind her.

The Newsletter Presents formed by The Newsletter 2005 Promotions, consisted of 5 talented hip hops and country music performers: Damo Entertainment, Chico F. Buzz the Navigator, Nova and Amber with her band The Greatful MuddHounds.

Wih all the bad apathy shown from a recent hip hop show in East St. Louis, it was momentuous to see such a great crowd and a very embraceable group of talents in the club. For booking information just click here and go to a previous article to find the link.

have known Drique Rocky Mc Intyre for just a short time, but it seems like he has been in my family for many years. This aspiring hip hop artist is making a name for himself and I am fortunate enough to be part of his booming success.

If Drique is not selling his hot t-shirts with his Greenhouse Records or Lockhead logos, this young man is in the studio creating beats after beats. He also is a special part of many shows that I have coordinated over the months.

Sit back and read about why Drique is a name to keep on your mind. Just in time for his performance audition with hip hop star Young Jeezy's Making the Next Hit Season 2 Showcase in Saint Louis, Saturday, June 11, 2011-which is ironically my birthday.

About Drique: Taken from a recent interview he conducted in Miami

Drique; Rapper, and CEO of Greenhouse Records, a local East St. Louis, Illinois & St. Louis, Missouri Music Production/Recording Company. Drique’s mom was in the military, which meant that Drique was traveling everywhere.

He was born in Germany and every since then he basically been on the road; Learning and growing from the different cultures and people. Going place to place around the world; coast-to-coast, until now where he lives in St. Louis.

Drique and his career as a rapper is a constantly growing and he is determined to shoot for the top. To show his progress he currently working on his new mix tape that will be released sometime soon, signed some more talented artist to Greenhouse Records, and started his Clothing brand; Lockhead Clothing.

His long term goal is basically to be stable, not just for himself, but for his biggest motivation, his son. The confidence he showed me during the interview, convinced me that he doesn’t have many weaknesses and he doesn’t let them bother him when it comes to what’s important.

Success & Money, and in this hard knock business of music that’s is what you need [Confidence, no {visible} weaknesses]. He states “Being weak is irrelevant in my book”.

“My strengths would be that I approach everything level headed, I think before I do anything.” said Drique. In his music, his delivery gives listeners that connection needed to understand everything he is saying.

Drique says his music is “like creating a civilization of sounds, every sound has its job to carry out. It all has to work together to survive. Each sound thrives of each other."

"The whole atmosphere I love this stuff." Drique says he lives by 3 laws of success dedication, consistency, and being unique in all ways. An example of Drique living by his law would be his stage name [Drique]. “My name is like no other, instant difference in game” quoted from Drique.

He listens to NWA, Common, Mos Def, Webbie, lil’ Boosie, Rick Ross, Old Heavy D, Greenhouse, and of course himself. He also says he would like to do a remix of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s get it on”.

To get away from all the drama, Drique would get on the highway and drive for hours and clear his mind of everything. Once his mind is clear he would come back home ready to hit the world with new hits straight out the studio.

In closing, Drique says: “It’s a sad story when everything sounds the same. Right now, I think the game stuck on repeat.

It sounds like every song has the same beat, same structure. The Game is getting boring. The artists these days don’t realize what hip-hop is anymore; it’s suppose to touch all sorts of people and cultures.

Hip-Hop is the genre with no rules, no standards, and more than one way about it. It’s everywhere.” Drique is in the rap game to change it, one step at a time he’s getting closer to the top.

“Listen to my music and soon you will acknowledge the truth of this real Music, I promise you I will leave you with something to think about with every song.” Be there to see the change first hand; in the hands of Greenhouse’s CEO Drique.

Now that you have it coming from a future hip hop icon Drique Rocky Mc Intyre, I want you to recognize this young man's grind and know that he is the real deal in Saint Louis.

Note:

Drique will be presenting his style of hip hop to hip hop star Young Jeezy's Making the Hit Season 2 during The Showcase with DJ Farenheit on June 11, 2011 in Saint Louis at Sheraton Clayton Plaza located at 7730 Bonhomme Ave at 5pm.
