Driving By Night

Driving By Night

If you can imagine Coldplay and Interpol in a fight we'd be the bi-product. No really, were just 5 guys from Belfast, in Northern Ireland, that love playing music, and it just so happens other people like our music too, which is great. We know what we want and we work hard to get it!

2009 belongs to Driving By Night.

Already credited with a sell-out show at New York's Mercury Lounge and critical acclaim from around the world having played three showcases at South By South West 2008; With now three official releases under their belt, each to rave reviews, these Belfast lads returned to studio to finish work on their debut album, due this Autumn 2009.

Their 2nd single 'Departure' "Throwing anthemic shapes, this wedge of mournful indie-rock is beautifully crafted, the initial spark becoming an inferno before raging its way into an eminently epic chorus" Alternative Ulster Magazine, and 2007s AA side 'Fears of Men/In Denial' each still receiving plays on both sides of the Atlantic, it's a sure fire cert that their new single 'Promise In Youth' will be equally well received by fans and critics alike.
"This is one of those rare tracks that is so filled with atmosphere... a brilliant effort from the Irishmen who no doubt are onto bigger and better things in the near future."ThereGoesTheFear.com
DBN have been gigging constantly, showcasing their powerful brand of anthemic rock around the globe, and proving beyond a doubt that they are an intense live experience, delivering tracks both introspective and euphoric. Driving By Night consistently prove that they are the must see band at the moment.
