Wood “Prezidential” Reece, hails from Eden (Draper City), NC. Raised in a diverse background, he grew up listening to all types of music, including mainly Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Reggae. Although he took an early interest to music, he never pursued it seriously until he started a label with friend/producer Calvin “CF80” Whitaker, Enterpriise Entertainment. Whereas most artists tend to focus on a specific subject or style, Prezidential prides himself on having no boundaries. “My music either goes with whatever I’m feeling or whatever the production makes me feel. I like to look at beats as a work of art that’s been started, and it’s my job to complete the vision. Whatever I feel like the producer was trying to accomplish, that’s what I go for.” When asked how he feels this could affect his direction, he simply states, “I could do trap today, a club banger an hour later, a reggae joint tomorrow..By Sunday I may have something soulful. And i’ll drop ‘em all! I don’t give a f***! That’s just how I was feeling this week! I bet every one of ‘em makes you feel something!”
