Dropout Astronaut

The band was initially known as Echo the Silence, started by Prange and Ciardi in 2008. Bailey joined in 2012 and shortly thereafter the name changed. Originally playing covers of rock and punk, the band has morphed its genre into original indie rock.  They have played gigs at some of Boston’s iconic stages for up-and-coming bands, including the HardRock Cafe, The Middle East and Church. They have also played at many venues surrounding Boston, but always return to their roots and play the Tinker’s Son in Norwell Center.

 Most of their original song titles are obscure lines from movies and have nothing to do with the songs. Examples of some of the titles include Let’s Get Into Character, What About My Dynamite , and I’m Gonna Drop You Like Third Period French.
