Started in 1995 by Tackwon Walker (Mr.Tac a.k.a. "Chocolate), Zone Platinum Entertainment became the mark for Street Hip-Hop in the N.Y.C. and gave the Boogie Down Bronx (Home of Hip-Hop) a twist on how Hip-Hop Lyrics & Style suppose to be. Summer, 1999 "Drop-Zone" released "Up Next", a maxi single by Mr.Tac a.k.a. "Chocolate" and generated more than 50,000 copies sold Independently on the East Coast. 2001 "Drop-Zone" had a chance to work with Multi Platinum/Grammy Winner Alicia Keys(M.B.K. Ent./J Records) and perform for Bill Clinton.
2004 Zone Platinum Entertainment is even powerful than ever by creating a Impact Street Buzz for themselves and the Music they represent.
