Once upon a time...
An orange guitar – toting Alaskan, by the name of Tristan Cannizzaro, landed in Los Angeles in the Fall of 2007. In search of a funky musical family, he placed a public announcement to lure forth potential band mates. Soon after, a fro-bearing drummer by the name of Nick Woods answered and the two became the foundation for what would soon become a symphonic super force sworn to protect the true value of the original hip-hop, soul, funk, and trippy sound manipulation. This alliance would come to completion with the discovery of the remaining three members. A chance meeting with a mild mannered taurus – hippie named Adam led to the addition of psychedelic sound ornamentations, and an innocent little jam session turned into an official audition for Krystal Xiques; she is now known as lead vocalist, able to strike rhythmic and melodic lyrical phrases on demand, leaving any opponent at a loss for words. Thus, a band would form from four handsome young caucasian males and a Cuban- Mexican front-woman. Brought together for their love of the strange, the beautiful, and the skunky fonky; armed with weapons of mass destructions known to humankind as ’musical instruments’ they are ready for world domination (ahem, beginning with California). Here to save you from sonic despair.
