Lyrics

WLUV: The Station of Love

Written By: Susan Horowitz

It’s the dead of the night,
I’m still not sleeping
I’m feeling so alone
My aching arms reach out for you
I’m staring at the phone

Since you been gone,
the house is so quiet,
the bed is so empty and cold
I need to hear the sound of somebody’s voice,
I turn on the radio...

WLUV: The Station of Love
When I’m losing hope,
I need a tender word and hug
I hear that sweet soul harmony – feels like they’re singing
‘bout you and me
WLUV: The Station of Love

Every song that they play
seems to lift my spirit
It’s like I found a friend
Something in that singer’s words
Makes look at the phone again

I wonder if you could be
hurting like me,
it’s hard to be so far apart
Figuring out who was
right or wrong –
that won’t heal my heart ...

WLUV: The Station of Love
When I’m losing hope,
I need a tender word and hug
I hear that sweet soul harmony – feels like they’re singing
‘bout you and me
WLUV: The Station of Love

It’s time to forgive,
Let the past be dead and gone
I’m calling you to say:
Turn your radio on...

WLUV: The Station of Love
When I’m losing hope
I need a tender word and hug
I hear that sweet soul harmony – feels like they’re singing
‘bout you and me
WLUV, WLUV,
WLUV: The Station of Love
