No words written could have been more accurate when describing the multi-talented R&B/POP sensation star on the rise DRU (Dynamic, Representing, Unique) and he does live up to the words representing his name. A true triple threat singer, dancer, actor wrapped up in one young man.
Music has been more than a hobby to Andrew Broussard a.k.a. DRU. His style of music is a form of expression that can be acted out in dance and song to relate his goals, fears and surroundings throughout his life experiences. He’s been singing, dancing and acting since the age of five. With a true splash of southwest Louisiana flair, topped off with a pinch of Creole spice. With such an authentic voice, as smooth as Smokey Robinson or Baby Face, and moves that the locals can only compare to the best showmen in the industry.
Names like Michael Jackson and Usher both for whom DRU whole-heartedly appreciates and aspires to one day ascertain. DRU has opened and showcased for numerous acts coming through the area, only doing it for the love of the music and also acted in plays. This young man is ready to be put in the game with the Majors in the industry. Don’t let the words on this paper fall on deaf ears, because no words can do him justice.
