Born May 10th 1982, Robert Andrew Smith, came into a life full of music. Since, Robert has become known to the music world as the infamous Dru Digga. Dru knew early on that he was not just an artist but also a talented singer, songwriter and producer, and yes, the brother has the likes. Dru is the full package of a true New School Great.

Like most great singers Dru grew up in the church and is also a "son of a preacher man", and this is where Dru learned his craft and created his desire. Dru has transitioned from a boy and is now becoming a man devoted to his passion. Studying artist like Marvin Gaye, Luther Van Dross, Al Green, Tempations and R.Kelly, Dru adapted his direction of making music. With vocals to make the ladies lose control and have the males relating to his thug flow, confirms He is a chosen star that is working diligently to change the worlds comprehension of a male R&B artist. Contrary to some, Dru has not always lived the life many assume a preachers son should. He has had his days of getting in trouble, falling in love and being hurt. But he did not let these situations happen in vein he took from these life lessons and turned them into positive energy to become an outstanding male artist. Joining A-1 Entertainment in 2009, Dru is natural born ready. Working alongside with label CEO Lee Johnson and Label Manager Delores Williams, there is no stopping what is about to take place. Opening the streets yes and ears with his single "Killer Her Wit the Flow", featuring D.J. Treal of Legions of Dooms, Dru is showing the streets how to understand what a woman needs and singing how to give it to her.
