Drycreek

It's memebers are Mike Partain of Stilwater, Ken Philpott of Skiatook, Shawn Maloney of Sand Springs and Roger Johnson of Sapulpa. Drycreeks diverse musical influences include the Eagles, George Strait, the Doobie Brothers, Brooks & Dunn, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bread.
Mike provides lead vocals and plays rhythm guitar for Drycreek. He has played in various country, rock and bluegrass bands in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Denver Colorado. He has shared the stage with such artists as Merle Haggard, Don Williams and Ricky Skaggs during his 30-year musical career.
Ken plays drums for the band. Prior to forming Drycreek, her performed for many years in various country and rock bands in Oklahoma include Southern Storm, Gold Standard, Rando Pleasure and Token. Ken has also won national song writing awards and spends his time either play with his granddaughter or teaching drum lessons to several students int eh Skiatook area when not performing with Drycreek.
Shawn plays lead guitar and also provides background vocals for Drycreek. He has played in various bluses and country bands in the Tulsa are over the last 30 years. Shawn actually began his musical career as a trumpet player, but got tired of the guitar players always stealing his girlfriends so he switched to guitar. Sadly, it didn't help.
Roger plays bass for Drycreek and also provides background vocals. He joined the band in late 2009. Roger says that he brings a level of youth and good looks to the band that it was lacking before. When Roger isn't playing music, his day job consists of supervising middle school aged students as an assistant principal. Previously he played with various bands in the Tulsa area including Raizin' Cane and Over Edukated.
