Bio
Dave Tanigawa grew up in northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. A classically trained pianist and self-taught guitarist, Dave now studies voice at Bristol Studios in Boston, MA. He participated in Berklee College of Music's Summer Songwriting Workshop in 2004. As a Professional Member of the Gospel Music Association, Dave actively participates in GMA events to further develop his talents as a performing musician and songwriter.
Dave has participated as a soloist and as a member of various choral groups and contemporary music ensembles in high school, in college, and with various churches.
Dave now resides in Salem, MA, and he plays at coffeehouses and churches throughout New England.
Dave's musical influences include Billy Joel, James Taylor, Chris Rice, Nichole Nordeman, and Mark Schultz.
