Dualistics are an indie/alt-rock band formed in 2006 consisting of Jimmy Stofer (bass) Charley Hine (Guitar, Rhodes), Tyler Despres (Guitar, Rhodes) and Scott Russell (Drums). They currently reside in and gig around Denver, Colorado. Dualistics initially started out with Jimmy and Scott writing and performing songs under the moniker and recruiting their friends Charley and Tyler to play guitars for Dualistics gigs. The chemistry was evident from the beginning and the decision was made to include Charley and Tyler as official members of Dualistics after just two gigs.

Dualistics cite a diverse set of influences including 12 Rods, Self, King's X, Wilco, Pixies, Mars Volta and Ben Folds Five. Their sound could be described as groove oriented pop/rock with an indie/90s alternative edge.
