Dualist Inquiry is the brainchild and solo project of Sahej Bakshi, a producer, guitarist and cerebral agent who graduated from the Thornton Music School at USC in Los Angeles, CA.

Since returning to Delhi in March 2010, Sahej has been touring India extensively, in addition to being selected to perform at Berlin Music Week in Sept 2010. Additionally, he was ranked #1 nationally in the Burn Sasha Tour remix competition (2010) and was the 2nd Runner Up in the MTV Submerge Ultimate Pro DJ Championship 2010, held at Blue Frog in Mumbai. He was featured in Platform Magazine's Music special, in the list of '6 new acts not to miss', in addition to being featured in Timeout Delhi, Food & Nightlife, Delhi Times, MTV Noise Factory and HT City, among others. Dualist Inquiry performed at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton UK, opening for international sensation Beardyman and hip-hop legend DJ Shadow at the world famous Brighton Dome.

Since then, he has performed at the NH7 Weekender, opening for Basement Jaxx, in addition to headlining SulaFest 2012, closing the night after Nitin Sawhney's first-ever performance in India. Most recently, Dualist Inquiry was chosen as the only Indian artist to support David Guetta in all three cities of the Eristoff Invasion Festival 2012. In May 2012, he also opened for Fatboy Slim in New Delhi.

Sahej released his debut EP, ‘Dualism’ in June 2011 on Audio Ashram Records (a New Delhi based record label). Dualism is a concise four track record, which also features a collaboration on ‘Qualia’ with Monica Dogra, vocalist of the electro-pop outfit, Shaa’ir & Func. In December 2011, he released his first Bootleg Remix Series as free downloads from his website. Currently, Sahej is maintaining a focus on producing lots more original music, with a full-length album coming in late 2012.
