If anyone knows how to discover music, it’s Dublano. Born in Chicago, and now living in Las Vegas, Dublano stumbled on music through a twist of fate. Horseplaying at age 5, he struck his head and slipped into a coma. After waking up, seizures and a speech impediment left him reduced like a semitone – a half step musical interval to the world around him. During his dark time of trying to fit in, he listened to a variety of music for hours every day, and later on, started writing Rhythm & Poetry. Music became his outlet, his form of fluid commuication. At age 11, his church choir performed with Celine Dion at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on her “Lets Talk About Love Tour.” He found his calling. Now, Dublano has performed in over 300 shows in Las Vegas and Sunset Boulevard in California, as well as releasing numerous music projects. Here, he offers his expert advice on how to discover new music.
