"DS as social & business phenomenon"

As a business, they've become a savvy entrepreneurship with connections in promotion, recording, and booking." - The Boston Phoenix

"DS earns an 11"

"On a scale of 1-10, Dub Station was an 11!" - private event host

"best band we've worked with, will call again..."

"Dub Station was not only easy to work with, but the best Reggae band we've every had. I have heard from all sides and all ages and all kinds of people, and each and every person commented on how good you guys were. It was a pleasure to have you here and I will not hesitate to call you again for next time." - event manager, major ski resort

"rave reviews & good for business"

"Thank you for the wonderful entertainment you have provided us over the past 2 years of African-American History Month celebrations. Dub Station's show is fun and energetic and gets rave reviews from the audience who is more importantly our customers. As with all business, it is important to surround yourself with professional people who realize the importance of working together to ensure the success of a project. It is for this reason that working with Dub Station is such a pleasure. I would highly recommend Dub Station to anyone looking for great musical entertainment." - Special Events Coordinator, major department store

Dub Station pre-released & toured behind Jamaican star Abijah's "Swept Away" (in 2007); spotlight CD's put out with Tom O'Brien (who was selected for inclusion on a Disc Makers 'best songs' compilation') and Shaka Black separately (in 2006). Two other multi-artist compilations came out in 2003 and 1997 respectively. Dub Station recorded with singjay Sonbeam (who was to be the first such artist on the Studio One label) on a vinyl 7" and several 1-7 song EP's came out betwixt and between. The group has charted in the CMJ Top 40 for World/Reggae; and the materials' collectively been circulated to over 1000 radio & industry targets. Numerous favorable radio & media reviews from the Boston Globe & Phoenix to Billboard to BEAT Magazine.

With a history stretching back to the early 90's, Dub Station has, in its various incarnations - has opened for (Toots, Buju, The Waileres, etc.) or backed (Richie Spice, Wayne Wonder, Frankie Paul, etc.) - most of the legends in the Reggae business. Numerous Festival performances and a growing Web, Video, and Audio profile in the industry have made the group something of an evolving fixture, progressively showcasing new and established artists with a finger on the pulse of what makes good music, whether it be dance-oriented or lounge-meditational material. Having toured the entire US, the group's looking towards branching out to non-Reggae audiences, including westward: to Hawaii (again) and Asia; and eastward: towards Europe.
