Deep in the heart of Corona, Queens, a promising young star was born. Many now know him as DuceDon. At the age of 11, he began voicing his emotions through rapping. At the age of 13, he began recording simply using a tape deck and a cheap microphone. Not long after he found his passion for music did the realities of a harsh life occur. His mother became mentally ill and was unable to provide for the family. Without a father, he turned to the streets to provide for his brothers, as well as himself. With a reputation for hustling, making money became more than a lifestyle, it became a way of thinking. “Dollars or nothing” became his motto, hence the abbreviation, D.O.N. Duce was given as a reference from the 1992 drama film, South Central. Thus the title, DUCE DON was formed. He doesn't like being called a rapper because he considers himself to be well-rounded. With a blend of sounds from hip-hop to pop to rock, R&B and reggaeton, DuceDon has proven to be a versatile entertainer. He has performed at numerous venues such as Guest House, the Bowery Poetry club and Karma lounge, as well as private house parties and street festivals. His hit songs, "Alien Abduction" and "Bud Luv" has received positive feedback and has become a frenzy on the internet. His goal is to be a music mogul so that he's able to contribute as much as possible to this world before his departure from the 3rd planet. At the end of the day, Duce’s intent is to touch every one of his fan base through his music, compiled of emotionally driven lyrics and relentless passion so that they too may feel what he's endured over the years. DuceDon has experienced many obstacles within his lifetime and feels no one should ever have to go down the road he went, but instead can live through his music!
