Living in a world were its hard to find an “Icon” Lusive and Sly began turning to music as an expression of their lives. “Duece Iconz” is presenting themselves as musical icons with interest in various music genres. There music is refreshing with a punchy hip-hop flow blended with a touch of jazz. This can explain to you why Duece Iconz is one the greatest performance artists every displayed in an urban genre. Duece Iconz can blend musical backgrounds with their unique sound and style.
The North East Bronx was the starting point for this duo they have continued to embrace their hip hop culture but continues to have different musical influences. These young men took their time to know their craft and continue freestyling ,writing and recording all over New York City by age 17. Currently in 2011 Duece Iconz will be releasing an underground album called “ Up in Smoke”. This album will be featuring various producers such as Johnny Juliano, Avenue,SuperflyK and many more producers and upcoming artists. Duece Iconz decided to make the studio their home and are releasing a new mix-tape that will be releasing late February 2011.Duece Iconz was also interviewed and had a full page in Seventeen Magazine introducing them as artists in 2005.
Duece Iconz is young urban men that are true to music and they are hip-hop’s leaders that plan to change the world one song at a time with a message so powerful to touch any culture. They will continue to bring entertainment to any city ,any town, or any Borough. These men traveled to many colleges and venues on the east coast within two years, which helped them grow as as entertainers. Lusive and Sly plan to show the world something they have never seen before. This group supports many other upcoming artists from London , Estonia,California,New York,Jamaica and Detroit and being able to maintain personal skills is key for them. This duo always worked hard on their music and hopes that anyone could relate to it.
