Ben Maynard
Issue date: 2/12/09 Section: Web Exclusive
A primetime fight is coming to Ballantyne Auditorium at Kirkwood Community College on Wednesday Feb. 25 but there won't any be gloves, or even a ring. Members of Dueling Piano shows international are coming in to put on one of their legendary shows.
Student Life Coordinator Seth Vander Tuig discovered the organization of traveling pianists at an Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities conference back in November and said he knew right away they'd be a great show to bring to Kirkwood. "Student Life's theme this year is 'Have A Little Fun Already!' and we're looking to live up to that," said Vander Tuig.
The 8 p.m. show is free for Kirkwood students. For more info about Dueling Pianos International, check out: www.duelingpianoshows.com. - Kirkwood Community College Communique
