Bio
In 1999, Jacob Medley and Travis Weber combined their talents and formed a band. Bassist TJ Patton was the next person to join the band. After playing together with a drummer who didnt quite fit musically, Matt Jones filled the vacancy and completed the Duff puzzle.
Duffs style has been compared to that of the Beatles, Green Day and The Strokes all groups whos songs can be heard at a Duff show. Duff is also well known for their highly creative original music and entertaining live shows. With songs like Dont Want To Fall In Love, Lemonade and 400 Bodies from their first independent self-titled CD, Duff is poised to be a tremendous force in the music industry.
The band has been very successful in Battle of the Band competitions, winning the Bowling Green State University Battle of the Bands and Z98 FMs Rehab Music Showdown. Duff was also a finalist in the Cox Buzzard Blast presented by Cox Communications in Cleveland, Ohio.
Duff was named the Featured Band for October 2003 on www.ohiobandsonline.com. They have been booked with major label artists such as the Donnas and Reel Big Fish. They have participated in numerous benefit concerts for everything from the Concert for the Cure benefiting the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life, to scholarship fundraisers for the North Central State College Foundation.
The future looks bright for these four young men. With numerous performances and a promotional tour scheduled for summer/fall 2004 to support their second independently released CD, its only a matter of time before Duff rocks and rolls in a town near you.
