Bio

Duncan was born in Ile a la Crosse, Saskatchewan on March 1978. He grew up in a musical atmosphere, listening and watching as his father and uncle performed. At a young age he was playing guitar and drums in the family garage which also doubled as a make shift studio where the first version of "Hey Girl" , written by his father was recorded on a reel to reel machine, 20 years ago.

When he was 15, he moved to Wilcox, SK attending Notre Dame High School to play minor hockey. Although hockey was a great passion, the passion for music was not forgotten. It was there he joined the Notre Dame Canadians, a choral group who he played drums for throughout Canada and where he got his first taste of singing solo in his graduating year.

Years later, finally In 1999 he found the courage to audition as a solo artist, succeeded and was featured on both the Voices of the North in 2000, 2004 and 2009 and the Country North Show in 2000 at the Prince Albert Winter Festival in Prince Albert, Sask.

Currently, Duncan is working on a cover album with the help of his good friend and musician Mitch Daigneault of M-Dawg Music from North Battleford, Saskatchewan. With this connection, this album is sure to be spectacular and will really allow Duncan's talents to shine now, and in the future. Future hopes and dreams is to record a Nashville album and to try and hit mainstream radio. But until then, it's all baby steps.
