*solo OR 3 piece band.

Zimbabwean born, Australian raised, British Citizen residing in Denmark.

Leaving his country of birth at aged 10 due to political unrest, Duncan moved to Australia with his family. He first picked up the guitar at age 16, and has not looked back since. He spent several years performing between Newcastle and Sydney, earning a living from music while at university. Notably Duncan was the winner of the Annual Acoustic Awards hosted on the Central Coast, NSW. Subsequently he appeared as a regular performer on Central Coasts most popular radio station Sea FM, and also headlined SeaFM's Acoustic Awards showcase.

Genre: Pop Reggae/Rap Acoustic One-Man-Band Singer-Songwriter.

Without making a lengthy bio:
I have written and recorded many songs over the years reflecting my experiences and questions of life, love, friendship and the path that we all should take while walking the earth.

My life as a musician began at 16 when I purchased Jack Johnson's album, Brushfire Fairytales. From that point on I picked up a guitar and taught myself chords, as soon as I could string a few together I began writing my own songs. I haven't stopped since.

Influences have ranged from George Benson, Ben Harper, Queen, The Beautiful South and Bob Marley all the way to new emerging Aussie Hip Hop artists and other Australian Roots Artists such as Xavier Rudd and John Butler.

Duncan met producer Richard Dyer while travelling in the UK in 2010, from there he went on to record his debut album "Together on the Road" (released 2011 digitally and on CD independently). Duncan has continued to write and perform original material throughout Australia, UK and Europe.

The sound began with gentle, easy and chilled acoustic tunes expressing a tone of self-doubt and query about the world and the people in it.
Over the years the confidence in song writing has grown; evident with a sure sound driven by strong beats, often rounded with a reggae off-beat flavour.
Duncan's lyrics are sharp, quick and occasionally scathing. No longer does this solo singer-songwriter sit by and question the world around him, he boldly states his beliefs through his rapid-fire lyrics.
His eclectic mix of melodic acoustic pop/reggae and rap-influenced tunes are sure to leave you feeling happy, sad, uplifted and full of energy.
