Bio
Juan Cortes "Duquende", was born in Sabadell, within a gypsy family. At the age of 8, Camarón de la Isla invites him to debut on stage, accompanied himself on guitar.
His career has led him to act the world's most prestigious stages. In 1996 he was the first flamenco singer invited to perform at the Theatre des Champs Elysees, Paris.
Duquende has collaborated with great flamenco guitarists as Tomatito and Vicente Amigo.
Currently Duquende is the singer in Paco de Lucia tour and participates in the Taller de Músics production: "Camarón, La Leyenda del Tiempo, 30 anys després directed by Chicuelo.
