BROADWAY PETE
US born and Nairobi, Kenya raised, Broadway Pete is a New York based emerging Experimental Multi-Genre Electronic Music Composer/Live project of multi- talented electronic Music composer/performer Peter Kerre, who has built his name globally as Dj Xpect , a former radio mixshow turntablist dj and promoter . He draws his musical inspiration from not only his African heritage but also classic soulful music , as well as electronic experimentation based on scenery, moods, ambience, and cultures experienced during world travel.
He credits the late producer J. Dilla as being one of his biggest musical inspiration creatively.
Apart from releasing EPs, first of which is slated for August 2014, Broadway Pete is hoping to not only collaborate with fellow electronic musicians, but also revolutionize the way electronic music is presented to listeners Audio/visually
