Bio

In 2007, after disbanding the dark-wave / indie rock band The Five Foot Flame, Michael Bentley and Nathan Woody recorded demos of some of the lighter, poppier stuff Michael had written over a drum machine on a home computer. Encouraged by the new direction of their music and the sound they were getting, the duo recorded several more demos and began looking around for a bassist and drummer.

Eventually enlisting friend Alyce Green on bass and former bandmate John McAdam on drums (Michael and John had played together briefly in Atlanta band The Blue Hour), the band began working together a set of original songs during the holidays late in 2007.

These practices sessions quickly produced a solid album of material that the band started recording in the studio of XXXXX. After getting the songs down, the band played their first show at The EARL in Atlanta in February of 2008.

The band has continued to play shows over the last few months in and around Atlanta, as well as periodically recording more songs for the album. The band is currently slated to play Atlanta indie fesitval Corndog-O-Rama in June.
