Born & Raised in Ontario Canada, Christian Hip-Hop Artist Collin Simpson aka d.u.t.y gerw up in a small town out side of Toronto, some ask how did this white boy from ontario Canada find rap?.. Trust me i ask myself the same question.

I grew up with lots of musical influence, in my house there was always tunes playing. I grew up listing to lots of country.. Good ol billy ray cyrus. I grew up pritty musicial (dont know how because no one in my family is :S)

The first Hip-Hop song i ever heard was will smith Miami and from there on its all she wrote.. I feel in love with the art..
I was deeply into dr.dre, then from dr.dre i found Eminem, Snoop, and it grew..Music was my drug i was heavly addicted.

My moms tried to protect me from that music but I always found a way to smuggle it into the house...Then later got caught! lol

I didnt grow up christian my hole life.. but the thing that brought me to church was music.. i grew up in the united church, then i went to a non-denominational church and they had drums, guitars, the hole band I wanted to go back then from that day on I was at church every Sunday..

I dont do this music stuff to get ritch, or to be popular.. But this is ministry, this is real... not some well thought of songs, but this is my lifestyle. Christ is who I live for, who I would die for, its relationship not religion. I love HIM He died to save me and my goal is to see people set free from chains, When people hear my music I want them to feel encouraged to chase there dreams, to go deeper in there relationship with Christ..

as far as my sound I have some pritty amazing producers I work with to give me a different sound then everyone else.. i try my best to do me..
