Bio

my music. for the last 8years of my life i have written songs. i wrote my life in song. it wasnt until i started to write, that i felt like it should be me singing those songs. my music was my saving grace(yes cliche, i know). But it gave me direction, clarity and gave me the oppotunity to use my music to deal with an array of different hurddles in my life. my music was to move past a feeling, or to dwell on it; to help me see an event in a new light, to communicatie or just to have fun.

my first album titled 'breakaway' (2003) was a collection of songs, mainly mid-tempo cuts, that all spoke of 'growing pains' and the terbulent years of teens. The album included a mid-tempo ballad titled, 'broadway show'. written in the third person it followed a story of a young boy who was a stage actor and his struggles in performing on stage. This metaphoric narative told my story, a story of discovery. 'What Happened To Tha Boi? (interlude)' took the second half of the album into issues of being a young adult, deciding who to trust and who to befriend. the album ventured to many different parts of my life, 'chiamo sempre per te' was a power balled paying tribute to my italian heritage. The album, overall had a very serious tone.

my second album, 'Contours of My Reflection' was a much bolder statement. musically is was much more hip-hop and urban based. the album did follow on where the previous album left off, however the attitude was 'turned up' a notch and much more apparent on this album, with confronting tracks such as 'Naked Baby' - this hip-hop club cut was an expression of being free and able to make my own decisions in life. this album was an album to have fun with, yet it still carried some of the same themes and tones from the last.

my third album 'So Thankful' is the album i am most proud of. I collaborated with producer phil lombardo on 10 of the 12 track, and i feel like the album has taken a my music to a new level. I began writting this album keep commercial hits in the back of my mind, and as far as im concerned, they all are. there is an abundance of potential singles from this album. Still in the urban vibe, 'So Thankful' is alot more fun as a whole, and tells so many stories. the title track is an inspirational power ballad about being thankful for having someone in your life that makes you a better person; at the same time, i am so very thankful for everything ive been through in my realtionships and life that it was inevitable that the album would infact be titled 'so thankful'. The other tracks tell their own stories of fun times and not so fun times. Cuts like 'Get Wit U' and 'Tell Me Somethin' are feel good cruizzze tracks, while, 'Fading Away' an ode to lost love - is a song i co-wrote with an amazing singer/songwriter Edoardo Santoni, i am so proud of that song and of the experience of working with such a talented artist. 'Don't Play That Song' is an uptempo club hit pleading to all the girls out there who think they need to play games with lost lovers, and 'Tomorrow', a thugged out ballad if you will, speaks of self healing after broken love. over all, this album is much more channelled as far as mucial direction in concerned and one of my strongest, lyrically.

inbetween album i work on side projects and material for other artists chasing their dreams.

shortly after finishing 'So Thanful', i began working on new material. for me, i wont ever stop writing. it is a stream of conciousness for me, and i feel like it truely is a gift from god.
