Bio
New Hampshire born and raised, Dwight has been writing and performing for 19 years. His earliest influences were crackling AM broadcasts of The Grand OL' Opry ,and later he was swept up in the 60's by the lyrics of Dylan, Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen. When he rediscovered his own music in his 30's, he studied the Country Blues fingerpicking style and began to write. , Many of his original songs tell stories of the New England folks working in the woods and mills.An avid hiker and cyclist, Dwight has two daughters and supports his songwriting habit by teaching high school biology.
His 30+ years of dealing with high school students have made him adaptable and comfortable on-stage, while giving him an agile sense of humor.
