Bio

Dylan Brabham was writing songs and playing gigs before he could legally drive. The Union Springs, Alabama singer/songwriter grew up heavily influenced by his dad’s original songs and going to his shows as a kid. At the early age of 14, a restaurant manager hired Dylan two nights a month to play his dad’s breaks. The crowd was drawn to his style of music and the fact that a fellow as young as he could entertain. Dylan began writing his own songs, and later playing his own shows. He landed some great co-writes and had a lot of guidance with songwriters and performers such as Billy Earl McClelland (co-write “Dabblin’ With The Blues”), Rock Killough, Milton Brown, Jason Ringenberg, Stephen Allen Davis, Ryan Hurd, and Adam Hood (co-write “Underneath The Water”.) Dylan’s goals are centered around his success in songwriting. In 2011 he entered an Alabama based spin off of American Idol known as Kowaliga Idol. The competition consisted of around forty singer/songwriters who were judged weekly for a month and a half on originality, instrument ability, and vocals. The panel of judges scoring the series were that of Barry Waldrep (Zac Brown Band guitarist) and Kelvin Holly (Little Richard’s guitarist). After the contest was finally narrowed down to three contestants, Dylan was named the 2011 Kowaliga Idol in front of an audience of 600 people. The majority of his songs performed were his originals. A short time later Dylan was asked to be the headlining performer in Alabama’s Capitol city for a meet and greet with History Channel’s hit TV series, Swamp People. He loves the craft and paints vivid pictures with the words he puts down on paper. Dylan was screened and approved to become an affiliate of SESAC in 2013. Brabham wrote a jingle for Montgomery, Alabama’s hottest radio station, Y102. The song was written for The John And Tommy Morning Show which was played two times every weekday for the year of 2018. Dylan has self released a debut album (titled, 25 Days Ago) and an EP (titled, Subliminal Confessions) in his career as a singer/songwriter. Dylan is also a member of NSAI. He continues to write and demo songs giving his fans something to look forward to and also hoping to break into Nashville’s songwriting scene.
