"Dylan Chambers- "Signals" Premiere"

If you’ve caught the current Dancing With The Stars Live! Tour, chances are you’ve seen Dylan Chambers performing. The young singer is on the road and hitting the stage with television’s most famous dancers, and today Idolator is premiering a live video for his new single “Signals,” which was made available for download on iTunes this week.

Texas native Chambers vents his frustration over the object of his affection in “Signals,” as he laments, “Oh, babe, you’re so damn fine, but you’re wasting all my time.” Keen observers will notice that the video clip above was shot at Hollywood’s famed Capitol Studios.

Dylan gave us the lowdown on “Signals” by explaining the following:

“We’ve all been there. You meet someone. You start hanging out a lot. Feelings start develop and then right when you start to show interest, they start playing games. In my experience, I’ve found that girls my age aren’t too straight up about their feelings because they’re unsure of what it is they want out of a relationship. I’ve been there time and time again with girls I’ve showed interest in out in LA. It happened again recently so I sat down with my frustrations and a guitar and wrote a cheeky song about it.”

Watch Dylan Chambers pour his emotions into “Signals” in the above clip and then let us know your thoughts on the song below.

"Funky Pop, Groovy Rock; A Star to Watch: Dylan Chambers"

There are two venues in Los Angeles, that never disappoint when presenting live music. One is the newly opened WitZend on Lincoln Blvd., in Venice, California. With it’s cool New York vibe, exposed brick wall, authentic twenties decor-(-keeping in style with the period of the building,) loads of street parking and simple, but flawless acoustics and sound, coupled with the impeccable taste of owner Jeb Milne, patrons are guaranteed a great live show. They have a full bar, serve great pub grub and since, I live on the West Side, this venue is a no brainer.

The second venue, The Hotel Cafe, takes a bit more planning, due to its centrally inconvenient location in Hollywood, right off Cahuenga Blvd. However, in all the years–(and they have been years) of attending live music at Hotel Cafe, I have never once been disappointed. It’s one of those rare spots, that you can ‘drop’ in, and know the show will be great. It’s a sure bet.

So when we went to The Hotel Cafe on Tuesday, we expected it to be great. What I didn’t expect was, how great it would be.

Brett Young and friends, and what an amazingly talented group of friends they were. (Brett Young, Jay Ollero, Justin Hopkins, Aaron Beaumont, Jason Adamo Band, Ray Jordan, Donovan Lyman) and Dylan Chambers, who sang only one song, ‘Just Because‘–and left us wanting more, just because he is that good.

Think The Beatles meets Jason Mraz and then they head to an arcade to play PacMan. No matter that I am old enough to be his mother or tall enough to tower over him like an Amazon lady; this 19 year’ old powerhouse, singer/songwriter , (born in New Jersey–but, hailing from Arlington, Texas), delivered a pop sensibility, that caught the audience with a hook to the head–(so to speak) and didn’t let go.

Funky, groovy and laced with a tinge of youth infused rock, he brought the audience to their feet, with lyrics that were–well universal. ’Just because you’re looking good, don’t mean I’m gonna freak out…’ Be honest, haven’t we all wanted to say that at one time or another to someone or another?

Dylan passed on his acceptance to Berklee College of Music to travel, play shows, and build a fan base. Currently working and performing in LA, we look forward to welcoming Dylan to TNBTA® Radio in the upcoming weeks, but for now, this is one indie star on the rise to watch for–and you can watch him live on Saturday,February 4th, at WitZend, where he will be performing. - The Noise Beneath The Apple

These two, who met on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica (Dylan was performing), came together to create their rendition for this upbeat dance track. As soon as they hit the chorus, their vocals mesh together so well that they simply become unstoppable.

‘My friend saw Dylan Chambers playing on the Third Street Promenade and said we should do a video together so we got in contact and came up with this cover! Enjoy,’ writes Kait on her video’s page.

Many of Kait’s viewers are comparing her to “Price Tag” singer Jessie J. Both of these rising stars are well on their way to the top! - Ryan Seacrest Online
