"Upcoming: MyKill with option4, Dylan Le Disko @ Beauty Bar"

Dylan Le Disko now resides in Denver, but as part of Dim Mak Records - the record label founded by Steve Aoki in 1996 - he's been all over the place. Dylan Le Disko puts together mixes just as his name implies - disco. But it's not the disco of old, it is Nu Disco with and electro twist, a combination that should please a wide spectrum of electronic dance music fans. - Concerted Effort

"TheHundred Presents Mykill W/Option4 & Dylan Le Disko at Beauty Bar"

Next up was young upstart and Dim Mak affiliate Dylan Le Disko. He took the decks and immediately decided to pick it up a notch. His infectious energy captivated the crowd as slowly, but surely the dance floor filled with eager ears hungry for each high energy heater he proceeded to drop. - Star Stuff Scallywags

"Looking Back: MyKill with Option4 & Dylan Le Disko"

Dylan Le Disko took the stage next, and as the dance floor began to pack he used his mix to turn up the intensity dial a couple of notches. Dylan Le Disko exhibited versatility behind the decks, as his style usually involves a combination of disco-like house mated with hard hitting electro, but to keep with the smooth house theme, Dylan Le Disko had to figure out how to achieve that same effect without using anything too gratuitous. By the sound of it and by the look of the crowd on the dance floor, I'd say he did a job well done thanks to his careful selection of nu-disco songs that took people right where they wanted to be. - Concerted Effort

Bio

Staking his claim in early 2010, Le Disko got his start playing underground parties and small two-hundred person venues in the northwest. As word spread regarding the intensity of his live set, crowds surrounded the energetic DJ anticipating the next time they would toe the line between an electro rave and a mosh pit. Speculation arose when it seemed that too often the events were getting "out of hand." Le Disko promptly responded to the critics stating "I really feel a genuine connection with every song I play, and that leads to a genuine reaction to every song I play, and if people can feed off of that with me, so be it." The shows rolled on.

By late 2010 Dylan began to play around with the idea of producing his own tracks. After getting a feel for the tools at hand, a slew of remixes made their way onto the net, and to Le Disko, the rest is a blur.

Unlike many of the producer/DJ's in the industry today, Le Disko comes from a background not of musicianship, but of appreciation for the culture that music creates around itself. This fresh outlook on the scene is a determining factor in why the future looks so bright for the empire that Dylan Le Disko intends to build himself, and the twenty year old shows no signs of slowing.
