Dylan Michael Bentley

Dylan Michael Bentley began his musical odyssey as a mid-teen. An obsession with words and their potential led to constant writing and tinkering with musical arrangements, incorporating any instrument he could get his hands on. This was, at first, a hobby, something with which to bide his time. Dylan eventually grew out of this hobby, though he always kept writing, eventually cultivating an exceptionally distinctive penmanship. At the beginning of 2011, however, Dylan's interest in music was intensely rejuvenated. After furiously writing and composing a slender yet intense body of work, he began habitually attending and performing at open mic nights to hone his performing abilities.
Dylan launched a Facebook profile in mid-August 2011, and has rapidly been enthralling listeners with his revised musical style - a folksy vibe with trinkets of highly intellectual words that are sometimes exchanged all together for a Dustbowl-Era vocabulary and playing.
Playing his First actual gig at the beginning of August 2011, Dylan Michael Bentley is steadily gaining more and more slots and sets, and a sound, sturdy fanbase. He plans recording and self-distributing his first full-length album at the beginning of 2012.
