Bio
In late 2009, Dylan Moss got together with Tony Raines and started playing shows with just two acoustic guitars, covering Country and Southern Rock favorites. As the crowd formed bigger, club owners requested a full band. In order to keep their gigs, they added a drummer and Tony went to bass guitar. They were then a three piece band with options to play in bigger clubs. Their sound was growing and so were their fans. They decided to add a fourth member to the band. After trying different guitarist David Phillips joined the band to play the acoustic guitar. After a while, needing a new drummer fell into the mix. Dylan called Trent Lewis, a former drummer from a previous band, he agreed to help with gigs already booked. It went over so well Trent decided to continue on with the Dylan Moss Project. He also introduced Joel Hill, steel guitar and keyboard player, into the band. This brought the roster up to what it is today. They play a little mix of Country with Southern Rock'n'Roll Blues.
SInce then the band has come a long way and has continued to rock! In the summer of 2010 they competed in a twelve week competition, Battle of the Bands, which consisted of Country, R&B, and Rock bands. Not only did the Dylan Moss Project win, but they got booked for bigger and better gigs. This brings the band up to where they are now. They are looking forward to covering a larger area and expanding their fan base. This years goal is to complete an album of original songs, written by Dylan Moss.
