Dj is a 21 year old entrepreneur, growing his Dyme Snatcherz Entertainment empire through rap music. Born Darrell Cleveland Jr on August 19, 1989 in Philadelphia to two young college students. Young Darrell was moved to Pittsburgh at the age of 5 where his mother received her graduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh. With father and family living in Philadelphia he continuously traveled between the two cities taking culture from each place. He attended middle school and beginning years of high school in Pittsburgh. While growing up his mother encouraged the pursuit of acting or modeling which brought some success to Dj. He later decided not to be involved in acting due to lack of interest. He was involved with music in his younger years through DJ'ing and instruments. He would listen to artists and imagine what their lives were like and what it would be like to be a rap star. This curiousity led him to freestyling with friends who kept advising him to take is seriously. In 2007 Dj attended Lincoln University where he began empowering Dyme Snatcherz Entertainment with 3 other artists. The small group of artist did not hold strong for too long and left Dj as a solo act once again. While still pursuing his own dream he decided that a band would be a much more appealing live show. He then incorporated this thought into his show and is now one of the best performers of his age.
