Bio

My Government Name is Larry Slack. I was born in Illinois and raised on the south side of Chicago for part of my life before moving to Markham IL. where I finished raising. On June 8, 1996 I recieved my diploma from Thornwood High School. From the age of fourteen to present I have played Drums for many Churchs, sang and recorded in the choirs I was affliliated with. I Started Writing Songs at the age 14 years old. Two years later I was inspired to write poetry. In 1997 I performed at South Suburban College doing spoken word Poetry. Later that year I've performed on quite of few stages Rapping upon different topics of life. In January of 2005 I was Joined with W.L. Weston's Stage play Entitled "LIVE". July and October of 2005 I recieved a Major Roll in the play "RAID" based on Spiritual Warfare at Prairie State College Located in Chicago Heights IL and at the Herman Hall of IIT Institute in Chicago IL Located 35th and State Street. Recently I've worked with DJ's Al "Hot Mix" Holmes, DJ King Staxx and DJ Lady Q. I've had my work cut out for me in a very positive way in the Recording Studio where I've Recorded voice overs, Spoken Word Poetry and Gospel Hip Hop. In the Summer of 2007 I trained and worked as a board engineer at The Big Gospel Express Radio Station along side Trainer and Head Engineer PJ Willis Where I recieved training under his leadership. In August of 2007 I Performed with Minister Raymond Dunlap at the House of Peace Located at the Evergreen Plaza on 95th and western in Chicago IL. October of 2007 I performed with Connected Fellaz from Harvey IL. at Mr. Ricky's Lounge Located in Dolton IL. In November 2007 I performed at The Greater Mount Church in Chicago for PJ Willis's Birthday Bash along with many others such as Minister Raymond Dunlap, Kevin Porter etc. The following year in 2008 I was introduced to DJ FUGI where he's worked with many in the Industry. My influences are LL Cool J, P diddy, Notorious BIG,T.I., Ludacris, Twista, T Pain, Mario, Tyrese, Usher, Boyz to Men, Kwiet Storm and Day 26. I dare to be different in all types of music which automatically sets me apart from all others, similar but yet Different.
