The passion of Eminem combined with the rapid delivery of Machine Gun Kelly, this is the sentiment of first time listeners of E13. Eric “E13” Herzog was born in Northwest Indiana during the golden era of hip hop. He has had many musical influences that have inspired his high energy head banger sound; Hollywood Undead, Machine Gun Kelly, Luda, Tech9, Twiztid to name a few. E13, took his first steps on an artistic path that would lead to his musical journey through the art of spoken word, and poetry. E13 has always viewed self-expression as a healthy way to contribute to society outside of the standard work routine. His music displays his tastes and influences from multiple genres and his passion for maintaining integrity with the craft of Emceeing. E13 began rapping at the age of 18, and began to take recording and the mastering of the craft serious at the age of 21. He aspires to make a name for himself and a solid contribution to the culture of hip hop through his complex rhyme skills, extraordinary energy, and lyrical versatility. His upcoming 2013 debut release of “whit3noise” will be an excellent step in this direction. “Whit3noise”, is set to release in the fall of 2013, and E13 will be making appearances at several festivals and venues around the country including A3C, SXSW, and CMJ.
