"Eagle Trace’s Brotherly Alt-Rock"

Off in the Night’s strongest track, “Ghost,” plays like an heir to that band’s chart toppers, building itself up from a simple two-chord foundation to a soaring payoff. and it sports the kind of massive hook that begs for airtime on alternative radio. - Evan Rytlewski

"Give It a Spin: Low Down Sound, Devil Met Contention, Eagle Trace"

This EP is clean and catchy. After only listening to it a few times, I’m already bouncing around my apartment singing along. Consisting of four brothers and one friend, these guys have been playing together since high school and it shows. Everything about this release comes together well and is reminiscent of Arctic Monkeys. - Midwest Action

"Eagle Trace "Off in the Night""

Recorded by Shane Hochstetler at Howl Street Recordings, this EP is another high quality project, with a big-yet-gritty sound reminiscent of bands like the Black Keys and Wolfmother. There’s also a touch of retro classic rock influence as well, which has become a main element of Eagle Trace’s sound. Long story short, this EP is well worth the listen. - Breaking and Entering

"CONCERT REVIEW: GGOOLLDD AT TONIC TAVERN (MILWAUKEE, WI)"

Late-addition opener, Eagle Trace, kicked the night off with a spirited garage-rock performance. The lead PR note on Eagle Trace is that they’re a quintet made up of four brothers, the Borgardts, and a friend, Broderick Coning; Lead singer Mitch Borgardt reeled lyrics off with a nonchalant intensity while youngest brother, Cass Borgardt, powered behind the drums with an impressive Super Bowl-or-bust concentration. Most notably, the five-piece band played hungry, and that is still the most attractive and natural characteristic a young band can have. - Mezzic

"Local band Eagle Trace keeps flying toward its rock music dreams"

it's a fun, rollicking four-song shot of Arctic Monkeys-esque rock. For the guys, it's exactly the step forward they're hoping for. - Onmilwaukee.com

"The Daily Cardinal Covers Freakfest 2014"

The final act was a Milwaukee-based group called Eagle Trace. They are made up of four brothers Mitch, Max, Cass and Jackson Borgardt, along with Broderick Coning. Their sound is definitely infectious. It was hard-hitting and attracted the biggest crowd the stage had seen that night. Lead singer Mitch Borgardt’s vocals seemed to just roll off his tongue in a way that held the audience’s attention. I found myself moving without consciously knowing it. They have been hailed as one of the most anticipated bands coming from the Midwest and I have to agree. - The Daily Cardinal

"Land The Big Gig Finalist"

Many of the 800 bands playing Summerfest 2014 have been booked for months.

But Doozey,Eagle Trace and Marie Wise-Hawkins just found out they were playing the Milwaukee music festival a couple weeks ago.

That's when the three acts — Doozey and Eagle Trace from Wisconsin, and Wise-Hawkins from California — were selected as the three finalists for the third annual Land the Big Gig competition. - Journal Sentinal

"Eagle Trace at Summerfest 2012"

In my opinion, if you took a little bit of Lou Reed, Television, and Kings of Leon and blended them altogether, you'd end up with Eagle Trace. These guys have definitely got potential and I wouldn't be surprised to hear them on the radio in the very near future! - The Madison Packard

"Brian Kramp of Kramp and Adler Morning Show on FM 102.1 on new EP "Pictures Paint a Thousand Worries"

I love it! These guys can play. I like that not all the songs sound the same or have the same structure. - Kramp and Adler Morning Show

"414 music on FM 88.9"

This band of brothers, and one "odd man out", form together to create a soulful indie sound filled with passion and fun. - Radio Milwaukee

"Eagle Trace wins "Best in Show" at Beloit International Film and Music Festival(New York Times calls "a Sundance alternative)""

Eagle Trace did not only Rock the House at the Beloit International Film Festival, but were the overwhelming audience's favorite out of the 24 bands playing at this year's competition! After reviewing over 250 band submittals from all over the world, BIFF event coordinators found a rare gem only 1 hour away in Milwaukee, and in the opinion of BIFF and the party we had in Beloit, they are the best!! - Brian Ramsey, Director of BIFF + Music

"Suzanne Sando DJ at WLUM FM102.1"

Eagle Trace is one up-and-coming Milwaukee band you don't want to miss out on. From insanely catchy guitar riffs to intelligent lyrics, their "Pictures Paint A Thousand Worries" EP is guaranteed to impress. - Neighborhood Watch
