Earl Clark and Spectrum

Earl Clark has totally devoted himself to the presentation and education of music for the enjoyment of all. The master front man, there is never a doubt when this man is in the house – ‘cause good times are ‘bout to commence.
Musically Clark pulls from an array of everyone’s favorite styles (hence “Spectrum”) and makes every song of the night fit the mood perfectly. Always engaging with his audience, Earl and his band never work from a song list. The next song is dictated by what the audience and the moment needs right then and now. The result is an incredible show every time.
As saxophonist and lead male vocalist, Earl generously features his talented band individually. Over the years he has shared his stage with a number of extraordinary female vocalist who have all blossomed under his tutelage.
Teaching is a passion for Earl Clark. Besides being a professional educator, Earl has many times undertaken his own initiatives to mentor young students, many who would never had been given the opportunity if not for Clark. He teaches them the love of the music, the techniques for playing it and always offers lessons on life for these impressionable minds. He arranges showcases to allow them to feel the power of playing for an audience and many times this means sharing his own stage.
Earl Clark has been honored by being inducted into the prestigious Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame and of all the inductees, has been one of the most proactive supporters of the Hall and its mission to nurture the spirit of jazz in his home town and state
