"About 'Nashville Resurrection" Album (2006)"

"On this recorded at home, acoustic album George and Dave Daeger offer jarring innocence to a jaded world. Reminding me of Brian Wilson’s material on Beach Boys albums like Friends or Love You, there’s a straightforwardness that sends me off balance in the best ways. While they have a strong musicality that’s rooted in classic sounds and songcraft, this doesn’t sound too much like anyone else.. and that’s a treasure to find these days."
- Bill Lloyd: songwriter, performer, record-maker, father, producer and session player, internationally known in country music and "power pop" circles. - Bill Lloyd

Bio

George and Dave Daeger write songs together. They sing harmonies and play their guitars everyday. The Early Evening is something that they created together nearly 11 years ago in Indiana while living on their pine tree farm. Playing music together was their way out of a small town and on to the big dreams that Nashville now holds for them.
Since the summer of 2000, The Early Evening have made Music City their creative base. In the past eight years George and Dave have recorded projects with Steve Albini(Nirvana, Beastie Boys), John Carter Cash (George Jones, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson) and also have studied production under Bucky Baxter (Bob Dylan's Band). Nashville's Pop-Rock Guru,Bill Lloyd, has invited the brothers on stage to perform for capacity crowds covering classic albums from The Beatles, The Kinks, CCR, Paul McCartney, and Eric Clapton.

The Early Evening has opened for several major acts including Brad Paisley at The Ryman Auditorium, The Wailers, and They Might Be Giants. In the past year the Daeger brothers have worked separately on projects with artists such as Ben Folds, Loretta Lynn, Ken Coomer (Uncle Tupelo& Wilco), and Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls.

Currently promoting their new album with Grammy Winning Producer John Carter Cash, The Early Evening has its sites set for more new fans and friends from all over the world. The new album, "Everyone's A Legend" was recorded at the historic Cash Cabin and is beginning to recieve the amazing reviews this new classic record deserves.

The Early Evening is more than just two brothers writing songs together. It can represent the magic between day and night...beautiful moments in life filled with light and joy or the cloudy mystery of the world to come.
