EarthReal is an original rock band from the East End of Long Island. These four long-time friends work together to create a unique style that fuses their favorite genres, including psychedelic rock, blues, funk, reggae, jam, and punk. 

EarthReal is:

Tommy “P” Price – Lead Guitar, Backup Vocals

Tom is a Southampton local who grew up playing rock, jazz, and metal as a multi-instrumental musician proficient in guitar, trumpet, piano, and drums. He studied music theory and jazz composition at …. He gives music lessons, works on an organic farm, enjoys cooking, hiking, and foraging for wild edibles. Some of his various influences include Frank Zappa, Tool, and Wayne Shorter.

Danny “Z” Zikeli – Rhythm Guitar, Lead Vocals

Danny Z was carried to Southampton from Florida in an act of fate. He was playing as a solo reggae acoustic act at the same open mic as Tyler and Tom, where they heard his powerful vocals and began to jam. Danny enjoys all things in nature; he grows medicinal herbs and crafts staves out of wood and stone. He is influenced by Bob and Ziggy Marley, Jimi Hendrixx, and  

Erin “Elski” Simmons – Bass Guitar

Erin is a Southampton native who loves music and the outdoors, and picked up the bass guitar at the conception of EarthReal. His passion for music and his steady bass grooves have held the band together through the toughest times. He enjoys hiking, animals, photography, and electricity. He creates his own light-photography equipment from scratch and has sweet dreads.

Tyler “Beechroot” Armstrong – Drums/Percussion

Tyler comes from an East Hampton local family but was born in California. He has lived in Amagansett since he was 4 years old, and has always enjoyed the forests and waters. Starting with guitar, he was inspired by raw punk and classic rock as a teenager. After he picked up the drums at age 16, Tyler went on to appreciate jazz, blues, and folk at Hampshire College in Massachusetts, where he dabbled in music theory and jazz courses with a focus in ecology. He enjoys cooking, studying nature, writing poetry, and attempting to understand the nature of reality. 

EarthReal has played on the East End for 4 years, and alongside bands such as Dune Local, the Montauk Project, The Reef, Treehouse, Nancy Atlas, Pthalo Blue, and more. We recorded two singles, Jump, and Breathe With Me, at Electric Loafy Land Studios with Angelo….. We recently won WEHM Real Band Battle and have the pleasure of playing at the Great South Bay Music Festival with so many excellent musicians. We are humbled, and we are proud to represent the power and beauty of our planet Earth by spreading positive messages through our music. We hope to inspire others to care about the only world we have and to peer deeply and curiously into the nature of reality and yourself. We are. EarthReal.
